I use to be pro abortion, then I was watching the mexican news one day. On said news channel, they were talking about abortion, as they showed a dr. ripping a fetus from between some whores legs, and proceeded to toss the living baby who was kicking and screaming into a trash can.
The problem with abortion, like anything else, is that people abuse it. For instance, one of my gfs old roomies basically had 3-4 within the past few years, instead of buying condoms/keeping her legs closed, the first being way way into the term. It is sad, and sick to be honest, but I guess it is a consequence of having an open sexual society.
Anyways, I will have to go buy this book, I like ron paul for the most part.

And I can't believe there are still fools that think that it's ok to murder an innocent child but cry when a convicted murderer is sentenced to death.

Re: The Revolution: A Manifesto, by Ron Paul
Ron Paul impressed me with what little I've seen and read but, I lost interest when I saw his campaign being eaten by the machine. Although he's an fascinating politician, he's plagued with hypocrisy.
"Hi I am Ron Paul, Pay me 12.99 plus shipping and handling and I will gladly tell you how greed is killing this country."
I agree that this book should be a free download but, otherwise I'm intrigued enough to take a peek even though I didn't get a very good feel for your review. Thanks for the tip. I'll likely pick it up with my Friday order this week.

I thought Ron Paul was a kook too until I actually absorbed what he was saying. I think everyone should read the book even for fuck's sake, the writing is extremely straightforward and convincing (to me anyway) and it isn't that long.

For a hardcover book of this sort, I thought that price was well worth it. If it seems too high considering publishing and distribution, then consider it an unorthodox campaign fundraiser.

Hey guys, remember when the U.S. had a drug problem, and then we declared them all to be illegal and now you can't get drugs anymore?
I think it could work for abortion too, it'll be just like that!

Awe,
What a cute liberal you are.
And you're so right, we should take all murder off the books from being illegal right? I mean, we still have murders even though it's against the law. So by your logic, any law that is broken should become null/void because it's just going to happen anyway right?
Great ideas! You should run for office... or at least start a liberal late night series on HBO where you got this line from...

Wow, that's sure a stretch. Murderers are put in prison to keep the rest of society safe from harm. Or is your idea to put every pregnant woman in custody to make sure she carries her child to term?
The pro-life movement wants abortion made illegal to supposedly help prevent abortions. Much in the same way that drugs were made illegal to prevent drug use and the drug trade - only it doesn't work.
But I guess you'd actually have to know something about what a complete failure anti-abortion policies have been in the past to get the gist of what I was saying.

I do like Bill Maher, but that isn't his line.
But I'll just agree to disagree on this one in order to not further derail this Ron Paul thread.

Ron Paul is against abortion because he believes in protecting the civil liberties of Americans, including the unborn.
