Your dog is extremely sweet looking. Really a pity people still care so damn much about pedigree. Dogs used to be bred for behavior in order to do the work that made them worth keeping. Now the qualities of a breed are largely arbitrary since dogs aren't often expected to earn their keep. In the case of breeds based on tiny founding populations, this has lead to tragedy; I worked at a veterinary oncology clinic for a while and now I can't see Bernese mountain dogs as anything other than future cancer patients.
And even if people who raise and show purebred dogs try to be scrupulous about health standards and the screening of future puppy owners, the very idea of pedigree and the belief in the uniqueness of each breed enables the puppy farm business to thrive. (People should never, ever buy purebred puppies from pet stores or breeders who don't do shows. Adopting from a legitimate shelter or rescue organization working with a store is fine, but ask for credentials!)
