I have two cats, but they're safely kept away from the dog as she considers all small animals dinner. (She hasn't done anything yet to the cats, but rather safe than sorry after what I've seen her do to birds and rabbits.)
She sheds twice a year which requires a lot of work to keep the dog and the house tidy! They shed absolute masses of fur!

But I wouldn't have it any other way, all the work aside it's worth it, she's such a sweetheart.

Did you raise her from a puppy with the cats? or was she brought in after / cats brought in after she was older.

She was raised with the cats. Huskies are really fun and energetic dogs, but you should know what you're getting yourself into though -> they need a lot of attention.

Yea I've done some research, and have family who has a pair of them, but I've heard back and forth stories about how they act around different things. Some get along great with cats, some hate them, etc.

Know about the shedding and the diet and stuff, just wondering how you were going to react about it, and doesn't seem as bad as some people make it out to be

Any dog is work, and I wouldn't just neglect training and such if I end up getting one either.

Yep, but the dog couldn't care less, she prefers being inside infront of the fireplace during the winter.

Have an akita/chow (one of those two can't remember) lab mix with long hair that he sheds all at once. It really isn't too bad, as long as you make sure to brush them out regularly once they start shedding, but once they're done, that's pretty much it.

Way more convenient then a regular dog, tbh, since it comes out in clumps, which makes it easy to tell when you need to brush him out. It does suck ass when you have to give him a bath though, since your hands just get covered with fur.
