McCain is a warmonger eh? So we should just ignore all those Dems on that list? We should also ignore that he was one of the loudest voices speaking against open ended commitments, unclear missions and speaking to get us out of Somalia? History defends him. What about your guy? All he has is Iraq, a position he's unsure if he would have taken were he in the congress. He however did vote to support Iraq all the way up until he decided to run.

So what about Kucinich? And little known fact, voting against funding doesn't mean you don't support the troops, it means you don't support the mission and want them home.

For the supporter of someone who wants to have meaningful debate, you and your candidate sure do take a lot of shortcuts in describing those who disagree with you.

Obama said to Petraeus that the general's description of our need in Iraq was a catch-22 since first we couldn't leave because of the chaos and now we can't leave because of the order. Would the same apply to Obama since he opposed the surge because it would do no good and now wants to leave Iraq because of the new stability there? He talks of political solutions but that was the whole point of the surge from start to finish so essentially he's biting the McBush line isn't he?

Illuminator, post the numbers including the war supplementals please. I'd like them myself for easier access in the future. Besides, if we are really going to talk about the issues and not the distractions and divisive politics, we need facts,figures and non-soundbited records.
