I'm pretty glad I never saw this clip before. I threw up a little in my mouth while watching it. I remember that decade well and while I'm glad it's long over it was a good time. Just realize that at some point people will talk about this decade the same way.

One day there'll be youtube clips of kids (and adults, oh dear god) waddling around with their jeans hanging half way down their asses, struggling to hold them just high enough to save some tiny crumb of dignity, thinking that looks fucking amazingly cool.

The 80's may have been really bad for hairstyles, clothes... and err.. dancing.. But this decade has the culture of the fucking moron. Imo this is worse. It's now almost culturally unacceptable to be able to speak coherently, or dress like you can actually afford to buy clothes that fit you. Also having no criminal conviction is really bad form. You'll have no incoherent conversation material at all if you haven't done a bit of time or at least been in front of a judge.

Worst of all though, is getting a good education and a job. If you make these two catastrophic social faux-pas you might aswell just hide yourself away for the rest of the decade. Nobody will want to know you!!!11

I'd just come across as an asshole wondering what happened to parents in the first place?Why the hell do your kids think it's cool to "sag" in the first place?Why don't your kids respect actually being understood? Why don't they respect education? While there is only so much a parent can do, all those are basic values your children should have had from the start. No amount of media should erode the basic sense of decency.
