The whole "parents hating what the kids are wearing" thing is pretty new. Or do you think parents in the 50's hated turtleneck sweaters? My parents never had a problem with what I wore. Course, if they did, it would have been hella stupid for them to buy it in the first place.

I'm a pretty lenient parent when it comes to what my kids wear. Don't dress like a hooker, and if were going to church put some shoes on. My daugher right now has kool-aid dyed pink hair and sharpie marker tattoo's. None of it is permanent and meh, its only hair.

That being said, my son is forbidden to sag. The End. You are not gonna walk around with your ass/underwear hanging out. You want 'em baggy, fine. Put on a belt and keep it on your hips.

I told him if I caught him sagging I would yank his pants down all the way. Apparently he didnt beleive me, and as were walking through Target his shorts are getting lower and lower. We walked outside, I came up behind him and yanked those suckers down to his ankles (he was wearing boxers anyway). But he was suitably mortified and doesnt sag in front of me anymore. Im sure he does at school, but I decided to pick my battles and let it go.
