I'm lucky enough to live in central Florida where we have a really good news talk radio station. The emcee in the morning is a guy named Bob Rose. He is the reason I dislike ethanol so much. There was a good week or two that ethanol was the main talking point during his show and he successfully debated every pro ethanol caller he had. It was very eye opening.

Thats the link to the station, it has streaming broadcast and a toll free call in number. So if you can tune in during the morning, its good listening. At times there are tons of local topics being discussed, but for the most part its still good talk.

Here is a search on the term Ethanol in Bob Rose's podcasts. Some really good sound bites in there if you have the time to sit down and listen to each of them. I'd say go back to april, may and june to get the really good items, and callers...

Its to protect the breadbasket known as the midwest. I know thats why sugar cane is taxed the way it is. They just want the midwest capable of growing tons of food.

What I think is that with some policy shifts. You could have a complete agricultural revolution in the US, which is amazing if you think about it b/c its not like we aren;t already producing a shit ton of agricultural products.
