How is this terrible? There is NEVER a good reason to talk to the police. Unlike most dumbass criminals, however, she can afford a good enough lawyer to tell her this.

She is absolutely in the right in asking for immunity first.

Even if you did absolutely positively nothing wrong NEVER talk to the police when you can exercise your 5th amendment rights. NEVER EVER EVER EVER.

The thing about it is this. When someone dies (especially someone famous) They usually want someone to pay for it. The family, fans, whoever, puts pressure on the D.A. to prosecute SOMEONE. If they could find a lone conspiracy nut to pin it on, they would.
