Just want to point out none of this has any correlation except for war means people die.
Most of that paragraph is the same as coming to the conclusion that when ice cream sales increase so do murder rates, when in actuality they don't affect eachother, its a completely different factor, heat.

Re: Does Russia Really Care What the US Thinks? - Ukraine Next?
The American problems are more rooted in the culture of divisiveness that has grown over the past 35 years than wars in the last 8. More people feel oppressed now by America's past than did when the actual oppression occurred.
Endless politicization of industry and economy has stifled capitalism and limited our ability to grow beyond a certain point. Only now are we understanding the effect of NIMBYism that has contributed to our industrial issues. It's been perfectly OK for the rest of the world to suffer the costs of supposedly poor environmental friendliness, and hard work so long as we don't do it here. the attitude being, let it be someone else's problem, we're not going to be hurt by letting all of the potential hazards happen half a world away. We'll happily consume the product of these terrible acts, but woe betide any that suggests that they be done here.
So the rest of the world develops, and makes money off of us, and grows stronger as we slowly starve our futures in the gluttony of consuming without producing.

Are you cheering for countries with a long history of autocracy? Because they would have to get stronger to achieve this equilibrium you think is so awesome.

Rome 2.0!
Too bad more people don't learn about history let alone from it.

Seeing as no western European country has over 8% (France) and before that 5% (Netherlands) and 4% (Denmark), this comment is a load of shit. And the vast majority of people who demonstrated against the war were white.

I didn't know having dark skin was a pre-requisite to being muslim. Or did you mean only 8% in france are Arab and just seriously not understand the difference?
