No no. I'm merely expressing my disdain for the travesty that is modern law enforcement and local leadership, and yet we're expected to have faith in leadership much higher than that.

Its merely an unfortunate coincidence that I agree with the ACLU in this instance. I just found this news interesting.

The city council put into action a desire by the people who live in the community to stop the violence and drug activities going on there. The ACLU comes in to protect the criminals with complete disregard to what the non-criminals want to happen so they can live without fear of a bullet to the melon while they sleep.

Simple really.

The ACLU came in to protect the constitution. It trumps any delusional city council plan of enforcing a neighborhood-wide police state regardless of whether some residents favor it or not.
