Also, if the dems control the WH as well as the house & senate, do they rename the show Colmes & Hannity?

You won't find one. Best advice I can give is look at the longer term history of both candidates. While I acknowledge it gives my candidate an edge, it also raises some uncomfortable issues with him as well. Bottom line when it comes to politicians-- and really most people-- is that you can only trust them to do what they've been doing. For me, my support of McCain comes from the fact he is not anathema to me and has been talking issues like education and retraining(fair trade) for a long time. He's also one of the first congressional Repubs to take environmental issues seriously. Couple those accomplishments with his name being shared on bills with the likes of Ted Kennedy and you have a guy who isn't an ideologue but wants to get things done. Of course, presenting him in such a fashion does him no favors with the people he needs to vote for him most so you won't see me pulling a Krontak. My big worry on Obama( and yet another bonus for McCain) is that he'll have a Dem congress. A Dem congress with an activist's fervor to change the world. I've seen this picture before and it started it's run in 1994, climaxing in 2001. I have no desire to watch it again no matter how poetic. I also have issues with what I perceive as his ideology on compromise for its own sake but by far single party control bugs me most with a politician who seems to follow party orthodoxy in his actions.

Yes, both choices are shit and no viable alternative has shown yet.

I've got a great site if anyone is interested on where they stand. It's unflattering to both of the candidates but is somewhat neutral, and somewhat up to date. At least as far their voting records stand.

I don't think you'll get much more fair and balanced than this. It gives you a good starting point. Enjoy.
