I have the 42inch 1080P LCD Aquos, and I won't recommend that TV or any other Sharps' to anyone. Just my 2cents - go with Samsung or Sony for LCD, and Pioneer for plasma.

...and Vizio have some great TVs for a little cheaper then the above 2 as well.

I can vouch for sylvania 42" that is on sale for 799 right now (slickdeals.net)

is 1080p, 2x hdmi, 1x vga, 2x component awesome quality, best price/quality ratio I have seen, and I check TVs out daily (looking for a cheap one for my bedroom) I bought my 42" last black friday for 799, and it is still the best purchase I have ever made

, well next to my car purchase. (4 years later and I am still not upside down in my loan)

log back on aim and find me a tv. i need to find one for my papa. he wants to spend like 600-800 and at least a 37inch.

Check out Vizios man - no lie, they are cheap and very very well made - they are starting to dominate the LCD market.
