What otis is reffering to is the pacific northwest. Specifically the areas of oregon, washington state, up into canada. That is the northwest that bigfoot is believed to be from. See the movie harry and the hendersons for future questions :p

Joke was that it was technically "A Northwest" not "The Northwest."

I'm reading now that they won't even show the body.. just pictures. A costume manufactrer already said it looks just like a costume he sells. Can't get more lame than that.

But the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Reserve spokesman Tom Mackenzie said "It's not on endangered species on any list that we've got," so if I see one, it's soo gonna die.

DNA tests said that the samples were from a human and an opossum.
Also said that the discoverers were co-owners of a bigfoot merchandise company.

Ug, another reason why I hate living in Georgia. Some redneck family probably decided to take a future son-in-law hunting and shot him for knocking up a relative....which they were probably planning on knocking up.....

I solved the case.

P.S. And to Otis' argument, technically....viewing from a single state it could be viewed as the Northwest of Georgia...technically.

I live in Metro Atlanta so despite the 'stereo types' the greater Atlanta area is quite nice, 85% of the people here aren't from GA.
