When I was about 16 or so I went out with a girl who's family were Jehovah's Witness. I got the same attitude tbh. Her parents made her life hell until she promised not to see me anymore, and they didn't know me at all, except that I wasn't JW (turned out they did me a favour really, some poor cunt knocked her up a year later).

Anyway yes, it is fucking bigoted, whether it's racist or xenophobic or whatever. I can't stand that kind of ignorance.
