I hate this excuse. I don't get how using fertility drugs goes along with God's will, but selectively killing off a few of the resulting half dozen or more fetuses in order to ensure the health of the mother and the remaining siblings would go against it.

And rewarding families for getting lucky and surviving their own stupidity makes me sick.

Well, if I recall correctly I think that was a family member's response and not officially the parents but yes I do agree. I am all for removing every abortion clinic in the world.

I knew someone, an ex actually, who had an abortion because "she didn't want to be tied down right now" and all I could think was you selfish, immature, fucking cunt.

But back to giving birth. Can you imagine how damaged that pussy would have been if she pushed all 7 of those children out? Nothing but fisting to get yourself off after that....

Imo the world isn't a fit place to force mothers to have unplanned or unwanted babies. The decline in extended family is happening worldwide - and it means women who are alone and in no fit state to raise a child, need the option. 30/40 years ago or so people stayed close to their family for a lot longer, so more help was available. Whenever I hear people ranting the anti-abortion mantra I can't help but think 'are you going to help raise all those unwanted babies? If not, stfu'.

Problems with that for me. First is that it's still passing the responsibility to another. Second, there is this nasty tendency toward emotional attachment once the kid is actually born. Third, if the person is mentally incapable--for whatever reasons--asking them to do something responsible is like...well, asking them to do something responsible, they've already shown they are incapable of it.

The first time I dealt with a woman like you describe I said the same thing; immediately after that I thought "Thank God". I was actually more horrified when she actually decided she wanted kids because she was still essentially the same person. I shudder to think of the eventual results of her utter failure to be a decent parent since even years after the birth she's still the same woman. I've watched this experiment play a dozen or so times before and so far none of the results are worth much. About the only thing wrong with abortion right now is that it can't be mandated.

Slightly relevant. When my brother had his accident his brain stem swelled cutting off blood circulation making him completely brain dead...I made the call to unplug him because I knew he never wanted that for himself.

The world isn't fit to raise children in regardless. But thats another topic for another day.

I, myself, have helped raise 2 children that weren't mine. Not a partner who had children from a previous relationship.

If my life was stable enough and I couldn't have children of my own, then I would adopt. If I did end up getting someone pregnant accidentally I can tell you I would get my shit together real fast and if they didn't want it I would take it.

Its not that much of a problem because the other is willing and wanting to accept that responsibility.

You can be responsible but make irresponsible, careless and reckless choices. So, although you do something irresponsible you are still able to make a responsible decision in response to your irresponsible action earlier.

Meh, this all stems from the mindset that life is somehow sacred. I honestly think people are into sex for the feel, not the idea of procreation, at least 90% of the time.


Sex, sex, sex,sex,sex. All the freakin' time. They should have something more widely available than condoms, but less of a hassle and less permanent than a vasectomy. That wasy, when and if you're ready you can have kids. But any time before that, get it wet, and don't fret!
