It wouldn't have been any worse off with a direct hit except levees would have been breached sooner.

I'll send you pictures of what Katrina's east side did. Wind damage was bad in New Orleans but Mississippi was flattened.

New Orleans was lucky.

Wow, that I can live with. I'll keep it in mind when I'm done moving across the country to the East Coast.When I crossed NM some time ago, all I saw was AZ with clay instead of sand.
