I can't find a fault with this album, it's pure and simply Metallica at it's brilliant best.

Re: Metallica - Death Magnetic
Is the whole album actually that good? What i've heard 3 tracks from radio, it was good, but not close enough to 80's quality.

Re: Metallica - Death Magnetic
A friend just bought me the album, and I've got to say...I'm liking it.
It's obviously not the "best" they've ever done, but wow, I can't find a song on there that I don't like. Actually, I like a fair amount of songs on the album, a lot.
My favorite, after listening to the ablum a few times, is...
Suicide & Redemption
<3 metallica instrumentals. It's just really catchy, and makes me nod my head a good bit just listening.
Also, The Day That Never Comes hits home for me. I'm not sure why, but it really connects with me, and I enjoy that song a lot as well.

My favorite, after listening to the ablum a few times, is...
Suicide & Redemption - because thats a completly new and original song concept that noone has ever written before....damn, finally were getting back to the cutting edge of thrash metal that it used to be, back when Ronny James Dio, Dave Mustaine and the boys from Metalaqueer ruled the arenas with thier thoughtful and innovative bard skills!
<3 metallica instrumentals. It's just really catchy, and makes me nod my head a good bit just listening. Its so awesome that they where able to mask the fact that James Hetfield cant carry a note, and if he gets near a mic he just screams lyrics on the same 5 topics that got him rock starred out....He must love Bob Rock more than his mom!

Yep, your ignorance knows no bounds.
Bob Rock didn't produce this one.
