Name one law Obama has voted into the Senate?
Name one time Obama has reached across party lines?
Name one time Obama has served his country?
All he does is talk

I agree that sex ed. shouldn't be taught in schools but, the problem is so many parents fail to teach their children responsibly that the gov't must intervene for public safety reasons if nothing else. What has always amazed me is the abject failure of the hard right to advocate programs that let parents feel more comfortable and teach their children more responsible sexual behavior beyond mere abstinence since obviously that doesn't work.

One law he's voted in? Since he's a Senator I'll skip that since the only way he couldn't have voted a law in would be to vote against the majority all the time.
Across party lines? Here Obama, Bipartisan Senators Introduce Bill to Increase Emergency LIHEAP Funding | U.S. Senator Barack Obama
Served his country? Depends on what you mean. Service isn't just military and I consider his community organizing a vital service to our country that should be respected by all walks of political life.

I call bs on that. Look at Ron Paul's argument against entitlements: saying that the government can and will step in gives us a reason and a motivation to be lazy and push it off to the government. What might seem to take off a burden instead diminishes liberty. Public education at the minimum is no business of the federal government, and at its worst gives state governments a single point of control to leverage against the populace.

Re: McCain campaign reaches new low
although I'm positive he's voted one way or the other on a few issues the amount of times he votes present in order to not actually have to vote is astounding
back to the original post i agree that ad is pretty low but i don't see why your so shocked when it gets to this point anything any canidate does gets distored to benefit the other party as much as possible both sides are guilty of this. plus it made me laugh my ass off

The problem is the government doesn't want to step in and has dodged it for awhile. When the populace fails to take care of its own responsibilities the options are national failure or government intervention. That's how we got our current entitlement mess. Government has a responsibility to not let the bottom fall out. Like so many libertarian arguments, the way things work with their theories is detached from how they work in reality. The government provided no incentive for parents to fail yet they are, what's his answer to that?
As for public education, the oft quoted founding fathers seemed to think it was a damned good idea to protect the populace against tyranny.

Re: McCain campaign reaches new low
Back to the original add,
You know the only way it woudl be fair to criticize this kindergarden situation is to actually have a detailed explanation on what the plan entails. I do vividly remember as a kindergadrener in the early 80s... that I and others were taught about strangers, and to tell a teacher or family member if someone touches you on a part of your body that your bathing suit covers... so I doubt Obama's legislation is simply a rehash of stuff that already exists.
Maybe it's simple and descent, or maybe it involves detailed and possibly an innapropriate level of sexual detail... but until we know we can't really criticize.

Yup. Because obviously he wants to teach all your kindergarteners shit like Taking It In The Ass 101 and An Introduction To Reverse Cowgirl. For some light reading, he's going to personally hand out the photo essay A Study In My Big, Black, Uncircumsized Cock.
Seriously, get ahold of yourselves - rofl.

Re: McCain campaign reaches new low
Well if I were a parent, I'd want to know more about this program before sending my kids through it ya know? I'm just saying. I'm inclined to think it's probably innocent teachings, but you can't rule out the possibility that there could be more than you expected being taught.

I just don't get the "until we know" remark.
Look the shit up, it's public record. It's not a secret. We do know.
