I agree that Anchors need to at least act impartial. Olbermann is too unabashedly left-leaning to effectively serve in that capacity. I couldn't watch the convention coverage on MSNBC as a result.
But Countdown kicks major ass. I think he highlights a lot of stuff that the mainstream media is afraid to cover. Good thing Olbermann wasn't really "shitcanned".
Chris Matthews is a douche, though. Way too emotional.
