Spend the 30 bucks and get magic dvd ripper. Rips to WMV, MP4, AVI, can do them all in highest quality, takes 15 min to do an MP4 for the PSP, 30 min to do a high quality WMV i watch beautifully on my networked 360 on a 1080i screen (buffering takes about a minute, tho), and the file sizes are tiny. 300mb for the psp, 900mb for wmvs. It's as simple as clicking "start".
MagicDVD also makes Magic DVD Copier, you put in the DVD, it makes a temp file, you put in the blank, and you're done.
