Definitely go with a H3. You need to use as much gas as possible to keep those traitorous hippies from having a reason to end our liberation of Iraq.

Probably can't even get one in SF. Those nothing-better-to-do fucks have probably protested them out of Northern California.

I don't think it is too much at all. My sons first car will be a beamer for sure.. Why do you ask? Safety. I know in my 530 you can govern the speed. Not to mention enough air bags to encase you in a pillow should shit hit the fan. Dynamic stability control is a + as well.

I don't know too many people who can say they have 5 people in a car and wreck at 75 mph only for all 5 to walk out unscathed...

2.5l is the smalest engine but the car will still move, so if you think your kid won't drive like an asshole then get it for him.

Will definatly help him out with pussy too =)

Edit to add: Parts and maitenace isn't cheap, but BMW is definatly one of the most reliable and best maintained vehicle on the road. Do your maintence when you are supposed to and you wont have any problems.

Last edit lol: Seriously make sure he doesn't drive like an asshole.

<---- A crappy pic but thats my baby.

He lives with me now in my new condo, I want to do something cool for him, but also don't want to be stupid. He said he'd rather have the used Beamer than a brand new "cubicle worker" car.

Maintenance on a BMW is not an issue, I have a brother who is a BMW mechanic.

Feedback is cool, I need to decide on the car by tomorrow.

Thx
When it comes to cars...think green imo. And think of the savings on gas. At this point that should be a major determining factor alongm with safety in any auomobile purchase, again IMO.

Everyone asked the questions I want to know the answers to. If your son is a responsible, smart young adult... and you know he'll take care of it, then it's a great car to buy. And very safe, like mentioned. Plus, not like this is ever a reason to do anything, but as an added bonus... he'll be bragging about you

He won't appreciate it as much if none of his money goes into it. I'd front a chunk and make him pay off the rest, even if it were only something like $5K.
