Abortion is a flashpoint for for two of our deepest beliefs, life and liberty if we are to err the I say we err on the side of liberty which says abortions stay legal and available. I have a couple of problems with the anti-abortion crowd and here they are.

1) Giving a shit about the kids seems to stop after the kids is born. We have over 200k kids in this country that need homes with parents who love them. Get all those kids homes and then I'll worry about the ones that haven't even been born yet.

2) People will get abortions anyways. They will just do them in dirty unsafe conditions which will lead to even more loss of life and even more people for our overpopulated penal system to handle.

- Side note The Ad Council adoptuskids.org was on the ad on flames when I was writing this post which I found fitting.

I'm talking about responsibly using the limited resources at our disposal. I also fail to see how being born into a family that doesn't want or love you to be good or humane in any way.

Again your only worried about having the baby born, but if it starves to death, or ends up in prison or is beaten and assaulted by its parents, who cares, you got it into this world by banning abortion the rest is up to the kid to figure out I guess.

What specifically makes something "industrial scale" for example if I start making wigits in my garage at then start to make more, at what point does my wigit making being "industrial scale"?


I favor a things that stop unwanted pregnancies and that is where effort should be focused. Once the reason to get abortions goes away so will the abortions and the industry supporting them.

A fetus is a group of cells in a woman's body that won't survive if removed, therefore a part of her body i.e. nobody else's business. Once the fetus is viable I think you enter a gray area but I would hope a woman would decide to have an abortion before the third trimester. If her life is in danger fuck it, she can always have another.

It's a shame Christians seem to think humans stop being sacred after birth.

Other Catholic majority countries like Ireland and Italy believe in evolution overwhelmingly.

The only countries that rival U.S. levels of not believing in evolution are Muslim majority countries if that says anything about the education system in the U.S.
