IMO, if you're looking for something that has a record of dependability, durability and has great serviceability in the future, something you'll still be driving in 10-15 years, go Lexus or Acura.
If you just want to spend money on a penis extension every 5 years to be cool and to see if you can whoop on your friends with it, get one of those others.

Due to the parent brands of Lexus and Acura, they both offer obscenely high resale value compared to most brands.

If you truely believe that then you're a fucking idiot. Lets see, the Corvette weight a lot less with 100 more HP. And on top of that who the hell would pick a fucking rice bucket evo over a convertible vette?

I would take the A5 just because of the AWD and its an Audi.

Audis are nice to look at but their terrible handling, 0-60s and quarter miles kept them off the list. The s5 coupe is nice but goes for about 50k

I'm no expert, but i worked a delership a few years ago so this is all based on vehicles i test drove around. Take it for what it's worth.

Of the list you gave, Beemer would be my choice for a daily driver. They are solid cars all around and handle really, really well. Not horribly reliable for the first few years, but once the kinks are out will run forever. They also offer manual transmission on just about everything they sell. Whatever you do, test drive one and don't be a pussy about it when you do. All wheel drive is nice to have as well.

I hate mercedes and have never driven one that didn't feel like it should be worth about half what is was being sold for. I swear any modern VW/Audi would offer a better drive. Piss poor reliability from what i've seen as well.

Infinities always struck me as boring. Smooth and reliable, but not really fun at all IMO. Everything is muted, not the best description i'll admit, but yeah muted.

Different animal and since this thread is compairing NEW vehicles about a $10-35K difference. If i were to spent that much on a sport car i wouldn't want to drive in the winter Welcome to Ariel Atom would destroy any vette outside of the non-street legal variants and has a far better resale value.

Further more that rice bucket would give that vette you posted a run for it's money up just about anywhere outside of a true race course and still be far more practical for runs to pick up the kids/get groceries and winter driving if the OP lives in the north.

Light weight car, easy to mod and add shit tons more hp (pfyc.com) and a nice engine. Not to mention it is hydroformed like the vettes.

Ok so you're an even bigger idiot than the other guy, for $35k you rather buy an overpriced go kart than a corvette? are you fucking serious? If you gonna drive a car that required a helmet, GET A FUCKING BIKE.

And btw for a self proclaimed car dude you should know that the evo is about a full sec behind the vette from 0-60. So no it would not give the Vette a run for anything, it would get destroyed.
