Speaking like a true fucking idiot that you are. The new GTR is not highly moddable at all. Matter of fact with the dual clutch tranny it's a lot harder to mod without messing with power delivery and the dymanics of the car. R34s are much easier to mod since the engine been around for a decade with a traditional gear box.

Don't get me wrong I love the GTR and would pick it over any Vette other than a ZR1. Vettes are dimn a dozen anyways. Too bad you're still an idiot.

He never said it couldn't be moded, he said it is hard. Of course Hennessey would do something with the car, they could charge an arm and a leg for it. Vette's are much cheaper to mod, any LSx car generally is actually.

Mansory Linea VincerΓ³

I know this is somewhat outside what the OP had in mind but when I saw it...just fucking unreal. This guy wasn't satisfied with the Bugatti Veyron so he modified the engine/suspension/body. The whole body is carbon fiber now. The car looked evil before but now in CF cross hatch black...just Darth Vader evil now. He will make you one for $3mil USD.

For like 65k you can get a Lotus Exige. I'd have sex with that car if I could. I don't care if the exhaust burned and cut up my dick.

"not highly moddable at all"

I linked a package Hennessy sells that doubles the performance of the stock GTR in HP and torque and greatly reduces 0-60, 0-100, 0-150 and 1/4 mile times.

Doubling the stock HP/Torque output seems "highly moddable" to me.

As for cost? Cost was never the argument, you guys just brought cost up now.

Not to mention you could get one of the other two GTR packages that Hennessy sells and still have spent less than a stock ZR1 costs.

And btw for a self proclaimed car dude you should know that the evo is about a full sec behind the vette from 0-60. So no it would not give the Vette a run for anything, it would get destroyed.
Yes i would get a Ariel atom before a vette. It would be more fun and i already have a bike ty.

Here is a video of this "go-kart"

I said i have driven a bunch of cars, never claimed to be a "car guy", please learn to read. In fact i said

"I'm no expert, but i worked a delership a few years ago so this is all based on vehicles i test drove around. Take it for what it's worth."

(apologies for the typo, *dealership)

I never mentioned personal experience driving an EVO, because i have none. Never driven a vette either for that matter.

I could talk out of my ass about them if you wish or compare numbers from magazines using stock tires and make an assumption on performance based on that if you wish.

The price difference remains however as well as the daily practicality. Hell given the price difference he could buy an EVO for the winter and a Hayabusa for the summer. Then again that isn't the topic of this thread now is it?
