All I know is, that a casino is now legally allowed to be built in Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland, and Toledo. And that's all I care about from this election. The rest was pretty much blah.

Yeah but Washington wanted New York City over Yorktown. The victories you want and the victories you get don't always match up.
Even if they didn't win the district, an unknown, uncharismatic, in any other election joke of a candidate, got close enough to make a district Obama carried competitive. I understand the whole Republican forever aspect but considering everything about Hoffman and the mass Obama support behind Owens, that's got to be unsettling. If the republicans had fielded a candidate that didn't inspire revolt in the base, it very likely would have gone GOP for another cycle.
