Somebody has to get the money brought in by the stadium seating, promotion and merchandise sales. Might as well be the players IMO. Seems a hell of alot more fair than the owners pocketing the vast majority of it.

That said, i don't enjoy watching baseball, too many damn games.

I dont like baseball but i generally watch the world series, I rooted for the yankees ( I live like 45mins from NY State).

Glad they won, but I'm sick of hearing oh they havn't been to the WS in 9 years blah blah, most teams would be pretty good if they got to the world series more then once in a decade, its like if the yankees don't its a huge dissapointment
