Markos enlisted in the Army from age 18 to 21 but did not serve in combat. Without injury or ailment over that short period of youth to test the weaknesses of the system, his opinion on the system is as good as anyone's and didn't quite legitimize his random insult.

Tri-Care was pretty fricken awesome in my experience. Far and away better than the private insurance i have now. I don't know about the VA in particular, btu while i was in active service i have no complaints. I have heard private hospitals/offices hate it though, as it takes them forever to get paid.
yes, they do seem to roll their eyes at the doctors office when they see your insurance is tricare. it all makes sense now! other than the occasional confusion, tricare has been good to me!
