Bah I don't buy it. I declare utter bullshit. You don't dump a job like that over a girl. You dump a job like that for a bunch of other reasons:

1. Nobody is listening to you or the community, hrm decide you need a life = meet nice girl tell SOE to fuck off.

2. You realize EQ2 is going to hell in a handbasket, for [insert 1 of the 10k reasons here], hrm you decide you need a life = meet a girl, tell SOE to fuck off.

Do you really think if the Community manager quit because he didn't like his job anymore that he'd come out and say so? HAHA.

How much do you wanna bet the same guy shows up in Vanguard wooshing pirates and the like? Or even better Wow.

And coming from a guy who has "supposedly" represented the community's concerns and done a great job... I've met BG at the first Fanfaire. He is a really likeable guy. I had a huge amount of respect for him in game and continue to do so. Just the fact that he posted here helped this site take off. He is a good guy, I believe what he says and think he deserves the respect of this community.

No doubt he had and still has many fans in this community. He was a decent guy who cared and tried to make things better. One guy cannot change a system, one guy can only do the best he can. BG did the best he could.
