I just meant try getting in on the ground floor of any business that you're interested in. The vet and dog care places sound great for you, just from the little bit I know of you. Some of those places I'm sure would even let you work part-time through college, if that's where you're headed.

Yeah, I'm going to college. I do like working with animals, that's where the whole poodle thing came from. I did show poodles in high school!

I did submit some applications before, though maybe I have to wait until I'm 18...

Good job navigating that bullshit without getting sucked in, for your first experience you handled it like a ace, verifying and double checking. Judging from the numbers of complaints against them, many young people were not as through.

Yeah, I knew something was wrong from when I called and the damn music was blaring. That's really unprofessional, but I went with it anyway. I'm not even going to try to work at that hellhole. Heh.

While it's practically everyones dream to have the job that they love and pays awesome, these jobs are usually few and far between in your age group / experience level.

I think most of the working college students will agree with me that when looking for that job, find one that is adequate in the pay and enjoyment areas. Make your primary priority - schedule flexibility. The jobs that relate to your course of study can be insightful, but they are typically not very flexible.

If all else fails, become a stripper.
