I also got sick of the attitude and popularity contest of everyone who skates. Aside from a few select people, I don't talk to anyone I used to skate with. If you don't wear slayer shirts and you even think of wearing a polo they disown you. Fuck that.

The current Fad for teens is Punk, like bell-bottom pants in the 90s. Its the cycle of regurgitated culture.

for those that don't know. Punk is a Screw the Man, screw the system, screw the world, and screw you attitude. plus the whole fasion thing like lamil said.

God, I am getting old. LOL. I guess you could call me a Rennie/Goth/Hippy chick now, although if you just went by music, you couldn't really label me.

I don't really label myself as I wear what's comfortable and I don't really give a shit what others think. For concerts and shit, I'll do the darker gothier makeup but I haven't been to a decent show in...*thinks*...damn, it's been a while.

But that's neither here or there.

Before I skated, I played baseball from the time I was 4 to the time I was 14. So for a few years I was messing around with skating and baseball. Once I hit highschool I quit baseball because it was all who had money is who made the team and that is not what I wanted to be a part of. I played to have fun, and it stopped being fun. I started playing golf about 3 years ago, and its something I enjoy playing with my dad. When my friends who I skate with found out, they were like eww sports? What's wrong with you.

I haven't skated in about 5 months due to the immaturity and amount of arrogant people that are involved with it. The skating scene is changing and I don't look to it as a way to escape anymore from everything else going on in my life. Its just like highschool.

Anyway, I still love snowboarding and always will because even tho the little groups exist there, I can throw on headphones and just ride and not notice anyone around me. I love it.

Skating = bleh
Snowboarding = yay

And I'm about to go play 18 so and i'll post more videos or something when I get home. BAI
