Yeah, I still play, and I adore the argument that if I didn't I somehow had no right be posting on these boards. And also, I don't quite understand the head up LFG's ass, but of course I'm sure that with your SOE fanboi mindset you can spot what you think is a head up an ass when its really not.

I still don't know what a battlemage is but I do feel like I more closely understand emos, and Lao's inner fag raging to escape.

But despite all that; anyone who cares about popularity contests on the net... Well,

for them. I'm with LFG, if anything the publicity gained has helped them; I bet more people actually know who they are now than ever before. Regardless how good or well thought out something is someone else is going to hate it for whatever reason. Who care what anyone thinks anyway?

Easy there muffin, I just asked if you were still playing. I assume when someone removes their character name/guild they quit. Tons of people who don't play post here, their opinions are just less relevant is all. I apologize, because I at no point meant to insinuate your opinion was relevant either way.

And I wouldn't expect you to be able to see what I'm talking about. It's pretty dark in there isn't it?

So I'm sitting around thinking "hmmmm how to touch this thread with a 10 foot pole..." and my favorite reasoning in the world just seems to win out.. "awe fuck it ..."

I'm happy to take criticism, feedback and general random flaming in the hopes of some good entertainment. Well anyone who can't 1, make fun of themselves, 2, take other's making fun of them or 3, can't dish a little side serving of returned "entertainment"... prolly shouldn't wade into the public lifestyle of any sort, be it fan site, podcasts, comics etc...

Yep EQ2BattleMage is new. I do it cuz I'm a geek girl and gaming forums are almost as hot as porn. Who knows if I'll ever make a dime profit but I sure love doing it. I really do run a fan site for people who just love this frigging game and can't get over the glory years of the chess club and math team tournaments, Sports fanatics, some you D&D freaks too

. Game obsession is game obsession, when you have the spark for it you never out grow it.

If some don't like what I have or others from my site have to offer I can just hope and pray they will be on the level of dumbass that Dextera is to really boost my ratings. I mean a total gene pool reject with the vocab of hello kitty spouting random hate syllables and throw in the guildies to the rescue, wow I feel like I should be paying em or something.

Honestly, I think fansites are great. I like them, and I think that it takes a certain amount of something I don't want in order to run one. However, your fatal flaw was "Most Influential Mage" so soon in your site's existence.
I'd just count your losses, realize you got a shitton of new hits, and move on from there. I probably won't visit there much, but that's because I just only really troll here. Good luck with it.
