She is in the spotlight which makes her less likely to completely get off. The courts will try and be hard on her but she will have a really good lawyer, which makes all the differenece.

As far as drinking and driving, i think anyone who drinks has at one time driven afterwards. Maybe they should stop serving alcohol other than for take home, or ban alcohol all together. But that would make the Kennedy's richer and the government poorer so i doubt it will happen.

It is a stupid arguement either way, just think of it as a form of population control.

i have an acquaintence that from the age of 21-23 had 4 dui's in which 1 he totalled a vehicle that wasnt his and he didnt ask to use, and 1 he had an illegal substance.

never did any jail time other than his overnight stints in jail until he was sober enough to be released for each one.

lots of fines and prohbation and shit, and some has changed in michigan in the last 6 years but still it amazes me shit like that can happen. lindsay will probably get crucified and if not she'll be several millions lighter by the time theyre done with her.
