I would also argue the point that putting on makeup, talking on a cell phone, messing with the radio, changing clothes, chatting with someone in the car, text messages, etc. are all as dangerous as driving drunk. So if you've never done any of those, I would really congradulate you.

You'd also be dead wrong to make that argument. I don't know about you, but I'm far too old to be getting drunk, let alone drinking and driving, and I know the consequences of said actions. I also know there's really no justifiable reason to do it other than racing home to watch NASCAR and The Highlander before sitting on your porch couch to look at all the truck bodies on your lawn.

No. I'm 25 and still have a social life. I no longer drink and drive though, after my DUI around 3 years ago. Its been a while. I call a cab or something if I need a ride.

There's no jusifiable reason to speed either.

And just so you know, states are making cell phones illegal constantly now in the vehicle because in busy city areas, they cause more accidents than drinking and driving. I personally totaled a car in high school sober changing a CD (I drifted into gravel and I fish-tailed off the road. I never had a wreck drunk. I'm not justifying drinking and driving, I'm saying that other shit is easily as dangerous. So before you judge someone else realize you are generally doing things just as dangerous.

First off, I am sorry that it appears that you have not really lived a fun life. Second nothing is forced down your throat from the media, you choose to watch and read all that shit. Third alcohol is a drug and so is aspirin along with anything else your doctor may prescribe you. So never doing drugs, I find that hard to believe, and if you do drink I find it even harder to believe that you have never had a drink and drove anywhere.
