Yeah, bitter about Briere too. Don't mind losing Biron that much, as he was only our backup, Miller's real good and will hopefully stay healthy. But Drury was my favorite player, our best player, and basically the leader of the team, and then Buffalo's retarded management fucked it up big time this offseason.

We better resign Roy this week, will be pissed off if he leaves too, his arbitration is at the end of the month

All I have to say is I doubt Buffalo is going to win any more games with only 7.3 seconds left w/o their clutch scorer. But I do wonder how bad he is going to suffer on the Rangers, I don't see him having a good time of it w/ the crew they have there...Too much competition for the puck and nobody to grind for the win

Man oh man remember the awsome goalie they used to have back in the early nineties....damn I gotta go grab my old hockey cards from my closet cause I forgot the guy's name...but back when they were winning Stanley Cups in a row...

Doubt Buffalo will go anywhere but the bottom of the conference this year...they've always relied on their goalie so ...speaking of Roy...nope don't see them amounting to anything.

Buying yourself a team sometimes just sometimes works....we shall see...usually I don't see the Rangers managing to do much with a bought team. Back when Gretzky and Messier were together...now THAT was a team...nowadays *yawn*.

We'll see what comes of the Islanders and Flyers...I'll watch Philly for kicks...Long Island...guess it's an inbred upstate NY thing...I still don't like'em...but I'm willing to give them a look over..

This season should be....interesting...for us east coast fans

Are you talking about Frank Peterangelo, Tom Barasso, or Ken Wregget? All of which were excellent goalies and we have had a few go through the system, just not anyone worth keeping, until Fleury. I think if he manages to get better at positional goaltending, like Thibault was, he will be able to carry this team to a cup. As long as he continues to slide 10 feet out of the net on every save and end up leaving an empty net rebound he will continue to kill me. However, with the addition of Sydor and the restructuring of the defense, somewhat, I hope that this will be less of an issue and the Penguins can actually compete for the Cup and make a good playoff showing...

I liked Hedberg. He showed a lot of promise.

Skudra was around for the playoff runs in the late 90's early 2000 before Jagr left so he was around for the attempt at a couple but not for the actual Cups those were Peterangelo/Barasso first and then Barasso/Wregget for the second

Hedberg is with Toronto now, I believe but I could be wrong.

Another question I have for those of you that follow football, the Steelers in particular, is how well do you think they are going to do this year after changing head coaches, losing their Offensive Coordinator, and having a coach who wants to run his own defense while Dick Lebeau just kind of chills on the sideline (assuming he is still w/ the team I have not heard one way or the other).

I think it was Barrasso...I used to watch him...he was pretty good goalie. My other favorite was the old NY Rangers goalie during the same period. Damn my memory for not being able to remember these great players...
