I agree with Otis, I'm not even into baseball much, but it's a great game. I much prefer motor sports to any other kind of sport though, and they can't really be compared to sports such as baseball and soccer I think.

Baseball's a good sport to watch while raiding, as you really only have to watch it in 10-15 seconds spurts, and with good announcers you can take in everything from sound. Not to mention there's a lot of downtime in baseball. On the other hand, the hockey playoffs were seriously cutting into my raiding attention, as hockey is so much of a faster pace, more action sport that you'll wanna watch the entire time it's on.

In order of sports I like watching best: football (if on tv, nfl, if at game, ncaa), hockey, soccer (if the game matters, like world cup or UEFA), baseball, and ncaa basketball.

The sport I absolutely cannot stomach is Basketball. Way too much scoring. There's so much scoring, it makes it boring. Up one end of the court, score. Down the other way, score. The surprise is when a team doesn't score, and that's backwards IMO.

They need to raise the rim so that not everyone in the whole fucking league can dunk, 2 feet or so ought to do it. That and a goalie, then maybe it'd be watchable.

NBA Basketball was awesome when Barkley and Laimbeer were playing, but I can't muster up the interest watching the modern nobodies. I still like to watch the AND1 mixtapes, though.

I love the Yankees, and have been a devoted fan since Donny Baseball - but since the Strike in 94' and then the huge cloud steroids has cast on the game, I just can't watch much more then the Yankees.

Having YES in HD helps, but again other then the Yankess I just can't get into the game anymore.

I agree with Otis again, basketball is definately the sport that I have the most disinterest in.

Denis Leary was on Conan a while back, and he summed up exactly how I feel about Baseball. The only thing interesting is hitting and charging the mound. Other than that, it's just a bunch of guys standing around.

Like I said, it's a thinking man's game.

I find American football boring. I can watch a game, but towards the end, I'm ready for it to be over. Run a play that takes 5 seconds, then stand around & wait for 40 seconds for the next play. Not exciting in the least.

That's why hockey wins. Nothing happens for the majority of the game, but damned if it doesn't look like something is happening.
