Why WOW is only 30% of what EQ2 is...and here is the explaination!
1. Kids ... yes i know wow has a bigger community... and yes eq 2 is smaller but hey the kids are destroying wow admit it!
2. community...look at number 1 explains it all enough said
3. raid raid raid..... all wow is is raid raid raid....solo nope cant happen ... if you need armor either
a. buy gold from gold sellers or farmers
b. raid raid in instances 50 million times.....still might not get what you need!
4. cartoonish graphics ..... i mean come on ... thats old tech blizzard needs to move on!
5. gold sellers... well all i got to say here .. back in eq 1 days not many gold sellers with wow out 4X as many and its ruining the mmo community
NOW for EQ2
1. community ... no problems there ...polite and helpful and not many kiddies
2. raid raid raid ...nope not in eq 2 i have a 59 pally and only been in a group 3 times enough said!
3. graphics .... not cartoonish and soe doesnt need to lure kids into playing.....thank you soe for keeping the trash away!
4. gold sellers .. sure there are soome but its not ruining the industry...thank wow players for that one!
So there you go WOW a mess and EQ2 moving on and doing well ... we dont need the big numbers to have a great game .. we only need great people who play!

ya jk.. I agree with the gold farmer comments. The game is FULL of money Sinks. I am spending around 10g whenever I repair then have to farm it up to 500 for the damn epic mount riding skill....5000 for epic flying... These aren't luxury items either, not on pvp anyway. your at a HUGE disadvantage if you don't get them.

as for raid raid raid? complete opposite. their are plenty of options to gaining gear. Arena, Battlegrounds, Quests, Tradeskilling, and Raiding. Yes the highest tier of raiding usually does have the best items. But raiding is casual in WoW an instance should only take an hour or two to get to the end, or first attunement point. You can literally end a raid early in WoW and pick it up from a check point the next day. Can't do that in Eq2.

you are completely fooling yourself if you think the ratio of adults to kids is more in wow then eq2. Dude they are games. Kids play games.

4. Some people prefer cartoony graphics to more realistic ones.
5. Bullshit. There were shit tons of gold sellers in EQ1, the difference was there weren't many organized gold selling rings, they were just people who played the game and made money off selling their gold.

EQ2:
