Re: What do you all make of this?
I finally had some time this evening to watch this whilst crafting. Multi-tasking 4tw!
While generally, I'm not terribly impressed with conspiracy theories, I think that a few good points were raised.
Yes, our country is run by people whose main focus is making money. This is not new, and I don't see it changing anytime soon. Though I tell ya, I have this insane urge to stop putting my money in banks and start putting it in gold and stashing it under my mattress. :D
I hate speculating on wars and how they started. It's horrible to think that our own government would manipulate the humanity of its people for profit, but the possibility is there. One thing that has always stuck in my mind is how the attack on American soil was planned and executed by Osama Bin Laden supposedly, however, all of our time, energy, and funds went into hunting down Saddam Hussein.
Why spend so much time frightening the American public against terrorists and not even put solid resources into catching the actual perpetrator? Shouldn't have all those billions gone to catching the actual villain?
I don't think non-corrupt government exists. I've always been a believer of people thinking for themselves, and while I see a lot of our fellow man falling to propaganda and scare tactics, I'm not so naive to think that the "haters" are correct in their surmises either. I always assume that the truth is somewhere in the middle.
Very interesting and thought provoking find though Nurta. Thanks for sharing it!
