Ive tried searching around, and Im sure there is something right under my nose and Im missing it. Is there a place to look to find beneficial trigger text? I'd like to know when things like RoA are being cast on me and the shaman doesnt have a macro, or for when PoTM is being cast, etc.

Someone mind pointing me in the right direction? Thanks.

Mark of the Serpent

This evening, I had the pleasure of delving into ACT a little bit further then just parsing fights, and showing detrimentals on my screen, then informing the raid leader who had the curses.

I tried to figure out the exporting to ingame chat channels.

Here is what i got so far, and follow along if you have not done this because even this part works fine.

Detrimental: Mark of the Serpent
mob name: Thet-em-aua
Scroll to "any combat action"
trigger conditions: 4 players , or "1" second
export channel: TC JOCOK (this is the name of the custom channel in game, TC is for tell channel then a space, then jocok)
and the "export to only one line" function is on.
trigger sound: custom wav (then a personal ping)

now.... in the EQ2 game itself, i have created a macro which reads just like this...

/do_file_commands detriment.txt

ok, so, this works, but... if i want to tell the raid leader who has the detrimental of the curse on the snake, i have to hit the macro to do it. My question to you Sir, is there a way to have it automatically come up in the channel so they don't have to wait for me to push my Macro? those 2-3 seconds may be key , especially on Xythus Davian "Negative Flux" as well as the Venril Sathir fight.

I am looking for a way to set up the detrimental so that any combat action I decide to make, i can automatically have it post it in the raid or this custom channel. Is there a way for that to happen? thanks in advance for your help. I hope i provided you with enough info to reply.

Win7 Compatibility Issues

Just curious if anyone else is having ACT issues after upgrading to win7. The program isn't monitoring logged files correctly nor displaying information like normal. I've gone through the normal steps to get it to work, reinstalled the program several times over, and tried a few tricks I know (being a programmer myself)...

Is the program not compatible with win7, or am I missing something?

Question on EQ2 Integration Export Options

Under EQ2 Integration Export Options, I have "Maximum number of lines to attempt to export" set to 7, but it's still doing 16 lines every time.

I'm doing a heal parse, so I want to limit the number of lines being exported to no more than 7 or 8... am I looking at the right setting?

What is the expression to create a trigger for a player death that would not trigger for a pet's death.

Pet deaths have an extra 's in the string. Example:
Alas, Gravedigger's blighted horde has died from pain and suffering.

Player deaths:
