I have a lvl 17 Dirge atm he has 17 or 18 AA's atm. I am running down the STA line 4/4/4/8 to get fortisimo, then moving to Wis to pick up DKTM. What I was wondering is it worth/better to go sword and board since I have to take the STA aa's anyway, I know right now with a round shield equipt I have a 35% DA, granted I am only using one weapon.

While I am leveling though it seems my survivability has gone up. Atleast for now that is more important to me then being a "glass cannon" so to speak.

AA Line Spec

So guys, I want some input from everyone on what AA spec works best. The one I have works great, but it seems like I could do a little better dps, granted I'm in the MT group usually. This is what I've always went down...Agility line for the pickpocket, and max out home made poisons, Fortissimo maxed, rhythm blade, don't kill the messenger etc on that line...

The shadow line I went down the quick strick, damage proc max, BC, 25% before BC, Offensive line and a few of the others for damage, Heal stifle for MT group...

What works best for you guys?

ACT and regex

Quick (stupid?) question, can anyone tell me what the hell the << and >> refer to in a regular expression? I see this often in examples of ACT timers, yet nowhere in the linked regex tutorial do they show examples or define << or >>. Also, what does the "." and "*" do in a regex? For example, ".*<< Priest >>" would look for any text containing "Priest"?

Are people simply copying examples without knowing what the hell it does and hoping it works? Lol. Because I don't know how people figure this out when those characters are not defined by the tutorials I have read.
