In open areas it's just a suicide mission, they get that stun/root breaker so grasp and fear are inneffective. Dumbfires help them~ tap arteries and they go back to full health~reflected it gets even worse of course. They get snares so getting range on them is tough too. Or perhaps could offer me some information on the types of pets which are available?

I keep getting conflicting information from different sites. Some say the level 1 pet is a bat and have even have screenshots of it, but I just summoned my level 1 pet and it is a puny little skeleton called undead knight...

Do necros get different types of pets later or just a basic skeleton? Every site I go to is showing different pets like humanoids, spiders, etc.

I am hoping to find some solid info so I know what to expect out of the necromancer's pet types.
