Hi All,

As many of you use the xanadu loot pages to see what is dropping from the high end raid mobs I thought I would put a post up here just to let you know that we have been upgrading the Loot database system to a more flexible version which will allow us to easily add databases for new games without having an admin having to manually create the paths for it.

The main points I want to bring to you as they are the most relevent is that:

• Current Links to the loot page will stop working shortly (end of month)
• You now have the ability to upload your own pictures for missing items
• If you notice a problem with an item you can report the item and it will be flagged to one of the moderators to correct

Finally before I go I just want to thank LFG for the great job he has done with this site, although it has been over a year since I last played EQ2 I still regually view this site for entertainment

we currently add stuff onto the item data base. but we appreciate ofc if ppl add their stuff aswell onto it

I love your pages, always been a great place to look up stuff!

This is likely gonna be to much work for you, now. But any chance that you could add the ingame Item links in the future?

We are always looking at improving the way the system works. We are still looking into browsing. I believe the current outcome will be the middle ground of what is currently available where the parent groups will show as

Parent > Parent >

Child 1 / Child 2 / Child 3

Thanks, I'm glad you like them.

With regard to the links we currently believe that their are enough good sites for links such as eq2links or eq2idb. However there is already a notes field which could have the link added too easily without any recoding.

I do have a suggestion, maybe want to consider doing sub categories for the tiers in ROK, would make it a little easier for those who currently are in those tiers to look at items coming from the mobs they are killing, or on the other side of the coin to quickly be able to goto the zones they arent clearing to see what lies ahead.

I will bring this up with the members who are dealing with the administration of the eq2 content, I think the easiest and most clear cut way would be to prefix all of the zones with their tier number rather than having set sections.

I have to agree, it was better to browse before by expansion, zone and u could do item as well. I also notice it is not saying where the stuff drops anymore(mob) .
