Hey everyone. I'm Nalandial/Snoochy, the author of Linky.

Some of you may have noticed his activity recently. I am bringing him back to life. However, his account was suspended on Wednesday, Jan. 9th due to a petition reporting him as an exploit/hack.

Although Linky's account has since been unsuspended, I am in talks with the customer service manager at SOE regarding Linky. According to him:

Until then, Linky's going to have to remain unavailable. So, I just wanted to let everyone know, before they thought he was dead forever. Be sure to check out Linky's website, http://www.eq2linky.com, for any updates.

P.S. If you don't know who Linky is, you lose at EQ2.

Dude Linky Roxors, And Porty.. sigh.. SOE your fucking Idiots!!!!!!! Get Porty back to SS!!! The boat sucks ass and sombody comes up with a work around to fix your broke ass zone transition system so it is now easy to get to ROK zones and you suspend the account... Great Job SOE...

lol how could it be deemed an exploit or hack..i could see since it is a third party program or something to that extent.. but it would have to progress your character or actually do something to enable your character to do something besides an automated response then I would worry about it.... we need to make "Free Linky" sigs!
Its kinda sad they cannot fix spammers on the queens colony but they can ban your account

I was a frequent user of linky - I can't imagine how they would determine him to be anything but a boon to the community (especially given all the other ways you can do the same thing, but not quite as conveniently).

Please let us know if he gets re-instated.

p.s. the web site doesn't even mention anything about this - might want to update that.
