*MACRO TIP*

To get fast info about your target's loot table in game, put the following macro on your hotbar:

Code:
/browser www.lootdb.com/mob.php?n=%T

I want to thank all folks that made the project a successful one! We just broke the 52000 item barrier!

I'm still working on the advanced item stat search form, and I hope to finish it by the end of August. If you have any ideas or suggestions you'd like to see on the website, I'll gladly soak them in

Also, there is an easier to remember URL now for the mob's loot table macro:

Code:
/browser www.lootdb.com/eq2/mob/%T

*UPDATE*

Advanced item search by their items is live. Currently only the main stats are searchable, but we are working on getting the rest in too.

i would like to commend you on your work, and i should mention i use your site on a daily basis in game. one thing i would sudgest looking at is the list of mobs in DT and EH. there are mobs listed there that are from t5 in EH and DT is completely missing animorphious drake. also, the site still needs to have a lot of items linked to the mobs that drop them. i cant figure out where any of my paladin set pieces drop, for instance =(

Yeah Faxon, sometimes people submit bogus data, and as I spend most of my free time on adding new features to the project, sometimes I fall behind in keeping the collector data clean... I've also reset the EoF fabled set drop info after GU37 as SoE swapped some pieces that drop off the EoF raid zone mobs.

*UPDATE*

November 19th, 2007
SOE has finally fixed the issue with the raid loot not being properly credited to the mob if the loot distribution is raid leader assigned. Now the entry in your log files correctly lists the named, the chest type and the coordinates where the item has dropped. So whenever you go back to T6 / T7 raid zones, make sure to have the LootDB collector running!

RoK items are now available through RoK zone pages and are searchable, although their respective pages are missing their stats for now and the zones list them under regular items. Please pardon the dust

*UPDATE*

November 28th, 2007
LootDB item collector has been updated to version 1.0.15. This version supports the extended log mode that also records the x, y, z location where the item drops, if you have enabled it in Options.

To enable the extended log mode, enable the following to options in EQ2:

"Options -> User Interface -> Extended Chat Window Output -> Display location when a creature dies"

and

"Options -> User Interface -> Extended Chat Window Output -> Display location of looted items".

The item collector now also shows the new items that are found in your logs.

*UPDATE*

January 27th, 2008

LootDB item collector is now clever enough to check for mob citizenship - no more submissions of vampires in the Timorous Deep. Log files with invalid mob/zone combos are now properly reported.
