the way they would have to do it for the lvl 80 is something to the effect that all uber gear gets you to about 50% so that at teh next expansion the upgraded gear gets you to 60% so the mobs can hit a little harder and so forth, but we have hit that cap and are stuck.

and now that i think about it a lot of the expansions that didnt have lvl increases still had a bunch of AA increases which worked way different than how they do in eq2. they were more grind oriented just like xping so it just kinda took the place of a true level when in fact it was pretty much the same thing.

I can actually remember at the first summit hearing someone from SOE saying they really didn't want to go the AA route. Guess they lost this one.

I can deal with AA's as progression but please make them useful. I haven't cared about an AA in 3 months. Yay! I can add a larger STR debuff to one of my CA"s! Woooo....

What is your class again? Ukerela isn't coming up on any of the searches.

The blue-sky optimal MMORPG would be strictly AA-oriented IMO.

I should say, especially with level 80, since it will greatly reduce the amount of raid content available to you.
First, this game could never work like eq1 worked, its obvious to anyone who played both games in any detail

Secondly, I may very well be bored four or 5 months into RoK, but if there was no level increase I would be bored one or 2 months in like I was with EoF. Ill take that extra three to 4 months of entertainment anyday.

And especially does not apply. I dont do KoS raids as is, we are border line removing the low end EoF raids because they have become useless to us as well. Even if there was no expansion in November we would cease to do these zones because there would be no more point than there is in farming Coldtooth.

would be nice that if any additional content / level cap was introduced as it is, that we dont spend the next xxx months playing content that is continuosly being 'fixed' sure you expect some minor patches, but soe just seem to rush alot of these things to get the new content in, then at the end of its time, difficulty etc is never the same as to when it was first released! (maybe havent explained ho wI feel clear enough, but im sure you can pick up enough on what I mean)
