Naw its not over money, illuminator just hasnt learned to count yet and cant see the numbers going up.
Its funny because he isnt sitting here bitching lets go back to level 50, the time when we had the same spells so to speak without the ancient teachings or level 65 spell. Thats probably because he liked getting those new spells, but of course they wont add anything new in now for t8 right? Of course they will be he cant see that because he so blinded by ignorance over this whole level increase.

Here's the punchline... are you ready for this? I hope you are, because this isn't the first time I've delivered it.
IT'S THE SAME CURVE!! GRRR
The escape to T8 doesn't win you anything because for all intents and purposes it's the same damn curve. 15 * level +20, that is the law. T8 gives you not a flat growth cap gain of 150 like old times, but a gain within the curve of 150. How much of that is going to get eaten alive with updated buffs? Compare where you started on the curve in T7 to where you'll start in T8 with EoF loot.

Re: The Level Cap and Protest to the Gods
Its not the same curve. What if every piece of armor that does not come from the bosses of raid zones and contested has the same exact mitigation/avoidance values? Tanks will be MUCH worse off at level 80 then and they will actually need new gear to get up into the curve like they are now.
You do realize that dont you? You do realize how all tanks with any form of fabled are basically equal right? You realize how there is an earring that drops that increases worn mit when it procs by 10% and that adds less than 2% actually mitigation because of how far up the curve people are?
At least with a new tier mitigation will have a meaning if done correctly at all. Its simple as hell to see that, how can you repeatedly miss it?

Re: The Level Cap and Protest to the Gods
dude you are retarded. the curve and how it fits to t7 was made so that KoS would cap you with the best gear...thats what happened. they made EoF and there was absolutely no room to expand so they gave everything soem crazy awesoe effect like avoid 5% of all incoming attacks, 100%melee crit proc and shit like that. in a new tier the curve has an entirely new application and for that you are stupid.

Re: The Level Cap and Protest to the Gods
A cap increase of 150 on stats with a new tier is dirt, it's jack shit. I don't imagine it being drastically different for mitigation. Unless you're expecting an across-the-board item nerf, and if we go that route we may as well stay in T7.
If anyone wants to step in and tell us why all the effort is going into "fixing" the next tier instead of this one, feel free. Because that hasn't been said yet.

The very first hour that servers were up when EoF came out saw our tanks stripping off mitigation gear in favor of agility/defense/parry. The very first hour our mitigation tanks had too much mitigation for the curve at level 70. Now 6 months later, we are at the same point in avoidance and still at that point in mitigation.
The next tier, can have items and their mitigation values and other things based around this curve because the curve is in exsistance before the tier. See this time the gear and the tier were already around for 9 months before the curve ever entered into the game. It was too late for it at level 70, it would have to be 100% reworked, retooled only to leave everyone exactly, 100% no difference where they are today, after geraing up for another 6 months once the expansion is released. Relatively at level 80 we will be the same vs level 80 mobs, but that is still different than being level 70 vs level 70 mobs. We progressed further.
It cannot and will not work at level 70. It may very well fail at level 80 as well, but if the mitigation upgrades are small in increment, then it can succeed very well. It cant succeed at level 70 because its too late. The game has to move forward to give it a chance on its own tier, not inherit a tier from an old system.

Re: The Level Cap and Protest to the Gods
I don't mind the increase, as 6 months from now I bet most raiders will be bored with t7 raids. As long as they add enough t8 raid content to keep us entertained, then the game will remain enjoyable, but if it's a meager 4 raid zones like EoF, that'll suck.

So basically what you want is for us to keep the same spells, and same gear for another year. What you want is for the game to stay in the same stagnant state that its in for another year. What you really want is for the game to not expand out and atempt to fix things and just mask all thats wrong with it with bigger flashier items that dont fix the issues at all?
What you are missing here is all of t7 is trivial. Kos, EoF, all of it is trivial. We have been level 70 for to long as it is. I want new fucking spells, I want out of this fucking level range. I want to atleast give the CAP a chance to fix it self.
