Call it skill, call it intelligence, call it whatever you want, it doesnt change the fact that most people who play this game are seriously incompetant players.

I would say above all its the player being able to not be completely brain dead and recognize at a moment's notice what needs to happen, be cast, etc.

As for someone saying high end raiders are not just flat out better characters, well this is an itemcentric game and thus items play a big part, but the high end raiders simply are better players. The tanks can tank more, hold better aggro, and take less damage. The dps flat out does more dps. The support classes can support better because of gear. All in all, every class can perform their abilities better because of being successful as a high end raider, therefore, they are better players because they were willing to commit whatever it is they needed to to make themselves more worthwhile.

I just think some people flat out suck at videos games, imo. When I went into this game less than a year ago, i was trying to strafe dodge enemies cause I had only played FPS series like Quake n shit for 7 years and never touched an MMO. But I caught on and learned how the game works...and after playing for less than a year I feel silly cause I still see people who have been into Eq2 since the original and they suck. =(

Sony should just make a parse tournament on Test. Pit each class against one another with the same buffs and gear. I bet 95% of the competant classes will parse nearly identical. Sorry guys, that's how the game works.

(Unless you're Naeca the Warlock who claimed to parse 3.2k on single target EH trash while wearing no gear. Then you just lose.)
