I have added a retired players category. Since the contest is to be a yearly event and anyone who wins this year will have their title challenged next year I did not want to mix in the retired players unless they decide to return of course. We can have a superman vs chuck norris poll though to see which badass comes out on top =)
Any retired player nominated will receive the same honor of being in our book of records as a Mage of Influence. I've had to change the title of the contest to "Most Influential Mage of Our Time", based on the separation of retired vs active. I still want to honor those who have gotten us where we are and moved on but without taking away from those who have stuck it out and continue to contribute to this day.
I've added Xelus already. I would wholeheartedly second that nomination that myself. If you desire to post your support for him please feel free.
There is no restriction to the number of retired players that can be nominated but there is a restriction of one active player nomination per player. I really wanted the nominations to come from the heart and show that someone picked 1 person out of the many, to show the "best of the best" mentality. This is the reason for the 1 player restriction. I've even restricted 2 boxers to 1 character nominated with their 2nd box as an a.k.a.
Thank you for the retired player input as there are a couple who have been severely missed since they've moved on.
And as for Caliglin, well he was my nomination, first on the page, as you see and you don't gotta be best buds with em to know the guys contributes his ass off. I have my guesses as to who the final 3 will be. I suspect we will see him there with his famous warm sweet nurturing manner. Growing up as an enchanter would have been a whole different world without em.
