Re: Most Influential Mages of all time??
Want to thank EQ2BattleMage for starting their Mage of the Year contest...I am a 62 year old grandmother who has been playing EQ2 as a Conjuror (70) for the past 2 years and have never gotten envolved in the mage community except to look in Summoner Towers to find what AA line would be best to take. I have recently started helping my guild to get more people actively involved in working together...with Vanguard and summer hitting all at the same time we lost a lot of players from all guilds server wide. when I accidently came across the Mage of the Year nomination, I couldn't think of a better way to get our guild and server involved in something everyone on Everfrost could do together. I must apologize for not knowing any of you, not knowing that there was a community of famous mages, nor knowing that my nomination would resonate across the realms of Norraith. My only intention, no evil intent, was to nominate a young man who has helped all of us on Everfrost. I realize after reading all of your posts, that maybe he isn't as famous as all of you, nor as experienced as he could be, he may just be "great" in my eyes, an unknown who will forever be known as the "Tanking Mage" of Everfrost. This has been the most exciting thing I have ever experience on EQ2 Everfrost. my goal was to get more people envolved, so all of our servers can grow, growth is good for Norraith (looks like I have done just that...aaaaaawh my goal has been accomplised." I didn't know I would be stirring up the Mage community..only thought it would be the tankers...rofl..."Mages Rule, Tankers Drool" Go in peace my fellow mages, may the light of Norraith always be with you.
