How do farmers get paid?

Sometimes while waiting for china farmers to kill on a PvP server, I also see china farmers from my faction. Last time I waited outside that zone in Everfrost to kill some of them, and then a group of three china farmers from my faction follows me. At first they only jump and warp around me. Then they say stuff like either "go" or "kill". I went afk then and after like 10 minutes they were still standing there and jumping around. So they weren't afk but did nothing to gain platin for like 20 minutes.

So my question is, do you think they get paid per hour or per platinum coin they earn? If they get paid per hour, then those farmers were being very lazy. =p

I think they were watching to be sure the coast was clear. Soon as you left their friends probably showed up.

They get paid per hour, but they don't make much. Only a couple of bucks a day.

Thanks for clarifying that. So who knows if they do really farm the instance in Everfrost or just zone in and /afk there. =p

Nah. I'm pretty sure if they don't produce their moms get sold into slavery as prostitutes.
It wouldn't be tough to keep track of whether your little bot slaves were actually doing anything.

I think they get paid in rice patties. If they farm enough plat they may get a 2nd story added to thier hut.

Oh, and I forgot to add, when you see them seemingly just sitting around ... I bet they are just in meetings. ISO certification means an assload of meetings, and I hear that shit's all the rage in china these days.

Actually a lot of farmers work freelance...they made plat and get paid roughly 1USD for 1PP

what ever happened to that documentary that was being made about the chinese plat farming buisness? the trailer was floating around here somewhere, and it looked extremely intuitive.
