Poor Poor Plat Farmer Whil

Yesterday, while in LP for harvesting a quest update, I was near the camp where Maximilian the Knife spawns. Plat Farmer Whil decideds to duel me. I quickly win. I see that the Maximilian spawned so I run over in range and kill him. A master chest pops and I go to loot the chest and I get killed by a trap. Bummer.

I rebuff start to head back over to where the chest is at I get this from Whil:

Whil, (being a 70 Necromancer) releases his 64^^^ Spirit next to the master chest, I think to prevent me to from not going up to loot it.

I send him a tell saying that's not cool to try to prevent me from looting the chest. He continues to tell me

A bit entertained, I train the mob away and FD and loot the chest, it was Dragonbreath a level 65 Monk Master (Upgrade!) As I was scybing he spell I watched him try to charm the mob, failing it then attacks him and kills him, I chuckle and Call to Q to repair and get ready to go on a pick up pickup raid.

I look up his EQ2 Players and I notice that he was created on July 20th, 2007. He was 70 only 21 Days after character creation he had a play time of 36 days 5 hours 54 minutes, seemed very suspicious.

So, I decide to petition him quickly and I was kind enough to send him a tell with the petition number and send him the linky # of master that I won as well tell him that I think he's a plat farmer and that I hope he's enjoyed his stay on Norrath.

Whil tells you, "If I have any thing wrong, excuse me, sorry"

Whil tells you, "What have you my online time? Oneself out of range book learn household extort? You play and open, OK? Does the opening look like you to rob on 100PP?"

Whil tells you, "Is not your English so good? It works out to be book of wanting in quite a while? Are the phone calls for appeal all taken and frightened I? Will not you forbid my number? Do so that I was afraid just now. Say directly now Chinese takes to co"

I send him a tell back quoting one of the lines in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back:
You tell Whil, "I don't know what you just said little kid, but you're special, you touched a brother's heart"

Whil tells you, "Do I need 70pp to know now?"
Whil tells you, "So is here in 24 hours"

I was trying to figure out if he was trying to bribe me. I remind him that he has been petitioned and I can not be bribed. About an hour passes and the pickup raid is almost over Whil then sends me a tell:

Whil tells you, "Want to have gambling of dueling to defraud of the things? Please play on one side, come to speak with me richly again, you are not qualified that there is no money, play it far, OK? "

So I think he wants to duel me, I tell him that I will be in LP in a few minutes and I will duel him if he wants. I head to LP and he's sitting at the camp where Maximilan the Knife spawns killing off the mobs I wait till he's done an at 100% H/P and challenge him to a dual, he declines.

I send him a tell that I am here to beat his botting butt again and he sends me this:

Whil tells you, "It is long, what does the thing broken have you? You afford anything just come to make extorting, have any prospects OK? Don't lose face "

I was thinking that Whil was calling me a chicken after a couple more attempts to duel him with him declining. I move on to complete my quest. 10 Minutes later Whil is no longer online so I check my petition and it has been resolved. I am still trying to figure out his jibberish English, if he was trying to bribe me and then duel me if I had 100pp..

Wow... that's wordy. Maybe he took some extra time and sat down to write a special script for people who stymie him.

i would just like to point out being 70 in 21 days is not odd at all, i know people who have done it in far less time such as under 2 weeks.

as far as his total play time it comes down to 16-17 hours a day which my characters are logged in more than that just sitting around so i can randomly check the broker.

the only crime i see as far this was concerned was he used foul language.

i know that on this site we have many respectable members that dont speak perfect english who are by no means plat sellers or botters.

shit i farm plat every day. as do almost every player in game.

if you did that to me id be pissed too.

No, his major crime was trying to use the charmed pet to protect the chest. I didn't even see profanity, unless Whil tells you, "@##$ing" was edited for our sensitive readers.

I wish i knew what he was trying to say too. Cause if he was trying to bribe you, you shoulda taken it. That would have been sweet.

Sorry man but I gotta say funny and creative on his part. If I saw you die I would laugh for one, would I steal your chest nah unless it was on PVP and then anything goes.

Overall you gotta give it to him for trying, most bots just ignore you, this one had real people skills. +

The turd knocker DID get banned. What exactly he was banned for I am unsure of due to the SOE policy of not telling what happened to an account. I petitioned him because I suspected him of being a farmer and because he put the spirit on top of the master chest in trying to prevent me from looting it. The tells that I posted are exactly as he sent them, I did not edit them for this site.

I watched him die twice trying to re-charm the pet after he left it there, which was funny for me. He was trying to steal the chest, he may have been hoping I wouldn't go near it if he released the charmed pet there. Butcherblock is not a PVP server by the way. I did give him his props for his hillarious tells to me and I rewarded him with a petition, although I almost regret it because now I will have to find another farmer to entertain me with jibberish (Or maybe the potential bribe or duel bet that went from 100pp to 70pp).
